Shophitchcock catch up An Áit Eile.

We talk to Aoife Burke about our concept and what our aim is as we start out as a fashion brand.

An Áit Eile are a Galway and Malta based cultural group with the aim of promoting grassroots art, music, fashion, theatre and literature originating in the West of Ireland. They hold events throughout the year that have helped so many local talents find their place in the spotlight on a local as well as a national level. Their content is fantastic - and also amazingly regular; definitely one to bookmark as there are daily articles to read over - so we jumped at the chance to have a chat with their Fashion Editor Aoife Burke.

The Irish Times feature Shophitchcock.

Not content with being one of the countrys best loved and most sonically adept DJ's, Louise McSharry has always been a bastion of fashion and positive body-image.

She caught up with us a couple of weeks ago before jetting off to Primavera to find out what about the sweater as a garment of choice has led to its resurgence as a piece du choice for the fashionista in us all. She discusses the attraction of a chic sweater with our artist Peter Bradley and Mary Nally of Irish Cultural group Drop Everything

"In a world of plastic jeans and kitten heels, the fashion sweatshirt is a welcome relief"
